Golf Courses : Sea and PinesHole by hole

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 1

PAR 4 HCP 2 : A straight and wide fairway at the beginning of the course. Its main difficulty lies in the distance. The driver drop is wide but there is danger of bunkers on both sides of the fairway. The green is protected with a watercourse at the entrance and a bunker on the right. In addition, there is another bunker at the back that prevents balls from rolling into the lake. The green is wide with a small undulation.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 2

PAR 5 HCP 6 | The gentlemen's tee offers the option of shortening over some trees located at 180 meters on the right side, or taking the safer path on the left side. The entrance to the green is protected by a small lake visible only from 100 meters. The large green has two platforms with a drop to the lake, which favors approaches that fall short of the flag.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 3

PAR 4 HCP 8 | A long par four with a pronounced dogleg to the right, with an out of bounds to the right that comes into play especially if you try to shorten the fairway. In order to reach the green in two, it is essential to hit a good drive. The green, which is surrounded by small dunes, is narrow and long.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 4

PAR 4 HCP 18 | Recovery hole with dogleg right. The hitters can choose to shorten by hitting the tee shot over the palm trees, but with danger of out of bounds to the right. The shot to the green only has the difficulty of a bunker that protects the entrance on the left.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 5

PAR 4 HCP 4 | Hole complicated by the large lake that protects the green. The tee offers a wide fairway, but if you hit it too long you may find yourself with a downhill shot. Players who prefer not to take risks have the alternative of playing the hole bordering the lake on the left side. Almost the entire green slopes down to the lake that borders it on the front, right and back.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 6

PAR 4 HCP 14 | The most emblematic hole of this course for its magnificent views of the sea. The danger is in the out of bounds on the left side of the fairway and behind the green. On the shot to the green it is better to lean to the left, as there is a very deep bunker on the right. Additionally there is a very pronounced watercourse before the green. The green is designed diagonally to the right and with a slope also to the right.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 7

PAR 3 HCP 12 | Depending on the wind this par 3 can be very long or very easy. For players with a short drive it is better to lean on the left side so that the shot over the lake is shorter. The green is wide, slopes backwards and has two bunkers on both sides.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 8

PAR 5 HCP 10 | The entire fairway slopes from right to left. With a soft dogleg to the left, the important thing is to avoid the pines along the fairway. The tee shot should be made down the left center of the fairway in order to have a better second shot. The high green is protected by bunkers, especially on the right.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 9

PAR 3 HCP 16 | A long par 3 where the choice of club varies greatly depending on the direction the wind is blowing. The entrance to the green is very narrow due to the bunkers that border it. The main characteristics of the green are its width and the two platforms that cannot be seen from the tee.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 10

PAR 4 HCP 3 | A very difficult hole designed for hitters. To reach the green with the second shot it is necessary to hit a long shot over the pines to one of the smallest greens on the course. For the lesser hitters it is advisable to avoid the two bunkers on the right before the green. The green is slightly elevated and defended with a bunker on the right.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 11

PAR 5 HCP 11 | The shortest par 5 on the course with a pronounced dogleg left. The entire left perimeter of the fairway is out of bounds. Very approachable hole, although it is necessary to keep the ball in the fairway at distance in order to have a shot at the green, which is protected by bunkers on the sides and a pronounced watercourse behind.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 12

PAR 4 HCP 15 | Short hole with a pronounced dogleg to the right. Hitters can afford to shorten the fairway without too much risk, only the pine trees surrounding the green can complicate the shot. The green is slightly elevated and has a hidden bunker just behind.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 13

PAR 5 HCP 7 | The longest hole on the course with a slight dogleg left. At first sight it has no greater difficulty than its length, but a few pines strategically placed in a wide fairway and some bunkers that come into play can complicate the hole. In the shot to the green it must be taken into account that the bottom of the green is not visible as it falls backwards. Large green surrounded by small dunes.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 14

PAR 4 HCP 13 | A dogleg right. Accuracy off the tee is fundamental to be able to hit the green without having trees in the way, since the rough on the right is full of pines and on the left half of the fairway there are more pines just at the height of the ball drop. As the green is very long, the choice of club can vary greatly depending on where the flag is located.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 15

PAR 3 HCP 17 | Par 3 short but with a green very protected by a short bunker on the left and another on the right. There is also a bunker on the back left that is not visible from the green. The green is long and has some soft slopes that are difficult to see.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 16

PAR 4 HCP 5 | The beginning of a complicated end of the course. A long and wide par 4 but with out of bounds to the right and left. The drop of the drive can be complicated by a strategically placed bunker on the right, and on the left there are some pines that hinder the long shot to an elevated green. Protecting the green is a bunker in front and another invisible bunker on the right. The green is wide and with very little drop.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 17

PAR 4 HCP 1 | Very long hole forming a dogleg to the right. The drive must be made on the left side of the fairway, but even so we will find a huge pine tree right in the middle of the fairway that makes the second shot difficult. The green has a soft watercourse.

Campo A | Mar y pinos

Hole 18

PAR 3 HCP 9 | Long and narrow Par 3 where you can only reach the flying green, due to a bunker at the entrance of the green and another one on the right. The flag position cannot be seen from the tee as the green is slightly elevated. The green is very large, so on this tricky finishing hole it is better to be too much than too little.
