Cadiz will host the first Spanish Grand Prix and will be the sixth stop of the second season of SailGP.

With the sponsorship of the Ministry of Tourism of the Andalusian Regional Government, through FEDER funds, the Provincial Council and the City Council of Cadiz and with the collaboration of the Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz and the Spanish Navy, the event will take place in the heart of the city.

SailGP Season 2 event

The event will take place on October 9 and 10 to coincide with Columbus Day, guaranteeing a weekend full of celebrations. The Grand Prix of Spain | Andalusia – Cadiz will also be part of the calendar of events commemorating the first circumnavigation of the world, an expedition that left Andalusia in 1519 and returned to Sanlucar de Barrameda in 1522.
